That's one of two I have here. It's an '81 96" cab, 3406A/380 hp, 15 double over, 4:11's on 44K lb. Airliner double framed tractor. I will be buried in that truck, it's my pride and joy of all the ones here. I'm actually setting that up to be my spare tractor, when this "new" 2000 KW goes down for any length of time, I'll climb aboard the Freightliner and do some old school tanker yanking for a few days at a time to keep things moving.
I have a 1985 108" double bunk here that needs a 3406B and a new owner. It's a nice project truck for someone. Ran until June last year, threw a rod through the side. Has a 14609A transmission in it, convertible to a 13 speed with a back half.
The value to me is in the suspension cutoff...it's all fairly new stuff and if I cut it up I'd get $2,500.00 for just the cutoff, so for a couple more dollars, a guy could get this whole truck and make it a nice ride with some love. Double bunks are getting hard to come by.

It's a bracket for securing the thermos brand stainless steel thermos bottle. It's the first thing to be removed so your feet don't get tangled.

You'd think with all that engineering in designing that thermos holder, they'd include some kind of a Velcro strap to hold the thermos in it...Just my .02 -

But the thermos not being secured is now a projectile...so how do you explain to the officer that you rolled the truck over and didn't get hurt except for the bump on your head from the thermos? -
