If I could have a pet in the truck, but unfortunately I can't, it would be one of the several breeds of dogs that are non-shedding. It's people with shedding dogs that ruin it for all.

Menehune Thanks this.

bring a mini shop vac with upholstery brush- works great using it while combing- the pooch-cleans up piss and barf-- works like a carpet steamer-- clean the mud off their feet... if they dont like it- too bad!!-- use a long hose where they don't get scared of it---
use a cleaner in a spray, and vacuum - works like a carpet steamer--- i use a 6hp shop vac to do my carpets in the home-with a bug sprayer of soap- beats any steam cleaner
use ozium- to kill odors-- its cheap-
accidental spills - flip switch- gone -
nothing disgusts me more that seeing some idiot walk a take and let it #### and piss anywhere it wants, why not after all, most drivers do.
the fact of the matter is that most dogs are smarter and smell better than most truck drivers I encounter but I would ask any dog "lover", why on earth would you subject a dog to living in a truck? what kind of life is that? -
I always thought about getting a dog for my own selfish reasons. that's all it is. selfishness. it would be nice to have the company. but after careful consideration I figured a dog would be much happy with a nice yard to play in. not a 20 square foot truck cab.

some people don't have a choice- its either trucking with the dog or the dog goes to the pound- which many people face this situation...
besides i live in an apartment- but when its 100+ degrees outside- the dogs are smart enough to stay inside.
i bought a house a few years ago with a fenced in yard- where did my pooch stay? under my desk....
not all dogs want the yard- they rather be with their owner--- they can have their yard time on down time...
if you save up enough and go local-- well maybe there is a chance- but a truck is not the worse situation for the dog-- definitely not the best either. -
Dogs/pets and Knight's No Idle policy dont work!!
Was the main reason for no pets when I worked there...$$$/bottom line as usual w/Knight!
Must be hard up for drivers---but driver BEWARE; if a driver leaves the A/C on while they are eating/etc. for the 'pet,' Knight will be harassing (threatening) you!!. -
Yep. It's true. Knights anti Idle policy makes no sense. To the knight rep reading this, your retention of drivers is on the decline because if your idle policy alone. Read it again.....I know a lot of you in the back office think you're gods chooses one and that your #### doesn't stink!
Read!
"your retention of drivers is on the decline because if your idle policy alone. "
Again
your retention of drivers is on the decline because if your idle policy alone.
One more time.....
your retention of drivers is on the decline because if your idle policy alone.
How does it feel to lose money? And to know that your drivers have to sit in a 100 degree truck because of your lame ### policy?
