Check the Landstar sub forum at http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/landstar/

The Schneider sub forum is at http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/schneider/ (check out the “THE ADVETURES CONTINUE- DFO” thread for info on the choice program) .

Usually people considering Landstar compare it with Mercer, not Schneider. The Mercer sub form is at http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/mercer/.

you will get VERY subpar freight out of Laredo if any,,,,,, I use to be leased to SNI choice program.......UNLESS it has changed you weren't allowed to take freight that came from over the border on the choice program...

Well here at LS you have to be willing to chase the dollar, you cant sit around and wait for it. Theres money to be made here and the guys that make it are the aggressive ones.
As far as leasing to a company that has company trucks and O/O never would do it, if the market tights up there going to load the company trucks first and leave you flapping!
