Man. .12 cent a mile ×2500 miles a week× 52 weeks in a year =15,600. Ok you just lost all intrest ob that money verses it was in your bank account.. company gets it all.. lease payment on 2013 will be more then 520 but lets say 520 a week 52 weeks×5 = 135,000 ,+ 30,000-50,000 balloon do I even need to continue.

maintenance .12 cents a mile with most lease programs in which you never get back. Do the math even if you get it back you did not get the intrest so it is loss. Ok 125 is not bad price. But with most lease if you get a new truck you will pay almost double. If you include all losses. For example (jct and celadon like 90 cent a mile plus fuel ) but the freight they haul pays 2:00 dollars plus ) .. you still have a loss. You have to count every penny to be a success.

Your replies tell me that your giving advise about something you nothing or very little about.
Have you ever been in a lease program?
Mine is $534, times 176 payments with a 45k buyout. Total just over $139k. Main. account is .07 per mile, and it does earn interest. Who are you to lecture me (or us) on business. Yes 80% of leases fail, funny thing is 80% of all small businesses fail. No difference there! You should really stick to what you know and I can tell from your replies lease purchase is not it. Thanks for trying to help, but..................

Well sorry to inform you yes I have with the following companies. Celadon, crst malone , cr England , rwi transportation , swift. Now I have my own truck ,authority, trailer. So you are just going where I been .I once didnt have good credit, and to be honest was flat broke. But I finally looked at it for what it was ... all my fault, so I asked someone who knew more then me .. he told me stop leasing and pay my debt of and buy me a truck out right. P.s . I made money at all except cr England. Just didnt like giving away money for a truck that would be good and wore by the time its paid for... nothing I said was a lie it was facts. State company you work for or leased to .. you can say that but ive been out here a while never heard of them terms. Pls dont say following colonial, swift, kllm etc so think of company we never heard of... illl wait no ats either. But as far as me not talking about notice your only one commenting. Also 7 months 109,000 crst. Celadon did 70,000 in under a year. Now I own not lease . Make what you make all week one one load. Example onions prosser Washington to new hampton 6.00a bag 950 bags5700 .load home man lifts 6850 no more than 4000 miles. Now heres where owning and leasing .. listen close. I dont have to leave my houuse till im ready.nobody repoing my truck. No note .. even if I had a note it woulda been once a month... so no I guess I do not know anything. About driving. So when you tell me about this wonderful company.im coming over there, so you can teach me how to work for somebody else.. I think you trying to feed us bullish and tell us it cheerios.

Ok, maybe you have been around, but you post sure don't sound like it. Actually it's $138,984 BTW. Sounds like your sore you didn't find the company I lease with, LOL. If I wanted you to know I would have already mentioned their name. At the end of my lease my truck will have about 450k miles on it, hardly call that worn out. Try not to be so defensive dude, it's unbecoming, lol.

500k miles is breaking in the truck, as long as you take care of it then it will last a long time. I know of one driver who has over 2million miles on his truck original engine, he never misses a service and fixes anything that starts to go wrong right away.

also 12cpm for maintenance is a bit steep, most people I talk to do 6cpm or so.
