Don't worry about it. Your posts are great, and probably in the top 10% for not having tons of spelling errors or txt speak. Keep 'em coming!

My first vehicle out of school was a Bronco. Ah memories. Hope things are going better this month than last.

Well the end to another week.... Sitting here in,,,where the hell am I again,,,oh yeah, Whitestone, IN I have a delivery of tree's to Sawyer, MI tomorrow morning. Didn't do too good this past week but did real good the week before, money wise. I hauled a couple partial's; water truck, and two double roller compactor's until I got rid of the Bronco. Getting the Bronco off the deck was easier then I thought it would be, thank God.

Now the down side to the week... About 4 days ago, I noticed a problem with my transmission. Doesn't want to go into gear when I start out like it used to. The clutch brake doesn't seem to work as easy as it did, have to put all my weight on it to get her in gear, at start. I have been told clutches can be adjusted, I hope that is true....

Clutches can be adjusted, clutch brakes can also be replaced if need be, without removing anything beyond the inspection cover.

    SheepDog and 123456 Thank this.

Is it something a shade tree mechanic is capable of or, should I leave it to the professionals?

Its petty simple fast adjust. With u pressing clutch a shade tree could do it in 5 mins.

Ok, so it takes two people to get the job done... I will look it up and maybe with my sons help, I can get it done next weekend. Then again, I need a DOT done so, I may be able to get a Mechanic to do it for next to nothing.

Adjusting the clutch is easy, I wouldn't change a clutch brake myself. From what I understand it's a miserable job.

I had to do my clutch brake when I got my truck. I can't remember what I paid but I don't remember the total bill being over a grand, and I had other work done at the time.
