So a year or so ago a local container company called Adrian Carriers out of Milan Il, Got bought out by roadrunner. Now I know some people that work there and as soon as the buyout they all began doing lease purchase. Now my friend tells me he is bringing home 1700 a week gross to himself after all deductions, he is home every night and weekends. He paid 70 grand for the truck. I see there lease trucks all the time on I80 between Chicago and the Quad cities so there are a lot of guys doing this, Is this a gold mine or are there really that many foolish people? He has offered to show me his contract. I worked for Adrian for a while as a company driver before the buy out and they were scams then!!!!!!! I don't know, His brother is doing it, another friend I worked with over there is doing it and they all say they are killing it. Is there really that much money to be made on pulling cans?

Or you can get your own rig and lease there to see if you can make that money. Best part, if you can't, then you can go elsewhere. If cash for the rig is a problem you can check out Lone Mountain. That kind of cash is hard to say. Here, pulling from Jersey, its a no. It really depends on the company and their rates as well as what they provide, as well as if you have to grab a container out of the ports or rails every time. All I hear and see in ads around here say 2500 a week gross.

is 1700 a week really that good. maybe if thats after all expenses and taxes, but even at that,Iwould have thought it was better.
