Well started out Monday in Dallas to load nestle water (bottled water) for Wichita, KS.. Got held up due to an appointment not being set for my pick up / 5 hrs later loaded and on the road to Wichita. Dropped trailer at yard, picked up one to haul to Dodge City to Load for Carson Ca..

Good of run first day made it to Albqurque NM (650 miles) the next day (today) made it to Barstow, Ca before running out of hours. Seen some beautiful country, been years since I was last out this way.

Have about 90 mile to finish up in the morning, no problem my appointment is at 1300 hrs, so plenty of time..

my big big delima now is, I need a load I can get off before Saturday at 5pm or I will eat fuel cost heading to where ever. Our pay cycle ends Saturday at 5pm and I hate to add $500 dollars to that by buying fuel on this week for a load that don't deliver until next week. Please pray that this works out, mama could use a payday this week.

Spoke to Joel 👆Today he was a nice feller, poor guy starter went out so he was down working on it. He gave me some good advice, but my phone signal was poor and I kept losing his call. By the way thanks for your patients Joel.

So far Bruegner is a good company, biggest issue for me is dispatchers, but this could also be my learning curve. I hope I can talk to a good one tomorrow and get the help I need to find that perfect load. If I do I can make about $900.00 this week if not I will probably be about $100 in the hole but should be set up for an excellent upcoming week.

Made it to Carson California!! Waiting a few blocks back for the PCC to call and have me come in to off load.. Stuck between calling a broker myself and tryin to book some freight or just shut down until Saturday.. Oh, wait phone is ringing!! Well good news bad news, have a load to Huston, for Monday at 7:00 am.. But I will have to spend this weeks profit in fuel to make it happen.. Well I guess I will see the benifit on next weeks pay when there is no fuel out on this load..

So I pick up tomorrow at 10:00am.. It pays $2800.00 but about $900.00 is there 30%, cost about $800.00 in fuel, so I'll pull about $1100.00 for 1500 miles.. What is that .73 cents a mile to me the driver on the load.

Well California is pretty, traffic was not to bad and meet a company driver who was pretty helpful in helping me find a place to park.. He also had an earful about Roadrunner, but that might be another day topic.. God bless!!

 

Got to load at Farmer Johns today, really nice folks at this facility.. They told me they where waiting all morning for me, I said but my appointment is not until 10:00 am.. They guy said screw appointments, next time just come in and we wil load you.. Lol .. My kind of place.

So so off to Houston for a Monday morning drop, going to cut down to Hwy 8 via the salt and sea so I can pass through Yuma and visit a few cosines.

Let me me say this about Bruegner, I'm not sold on the Dispatchers yet, but man we have some awesome drivers that seem like they would give you the shirt off there backs..

Well made it to Coppell TX!! Put about 1530 miles on the truck to get here!! Tornado warning to the south so keeping an eye on the sky tonight!! Joel recommended that I e-mail the dispatchers so I sent out an e-mail tonight saying I would be unloaded by 10:00 ish, let see if this works!!

If your ever looking for a truck GPS app, don't buy Smart Truck Routing!! This was the worse application I have ever bought..

Hoping for for a good week it should all be profit, with this load delivering tomorrow!!
