I want to preface this by saying that the MBM guys on this forum could blow me away when we go out and have a delivery contest. I can't compete with LoneCowboy or McKlakin from Kentucky defiantly McKlakin would own me, I'm just a lone sales service men here at GFS ha-ha!

Anyhow though, today wasn't bad actually it was probably the best day so far I have had on my own. I did alright. In fact one of the schools I go to sometime on Thursday the lunch lady said "Hey you're running down the ramp better and everything. You look a tad more comfortable with it."

Actually the lunch ladies aren't bad there all pretty cool about everything, thus far. The one high school we have they give you home made cookies when you go and deliver.

However today was probably the best day I had thus far I did 220 cases at a hospital in 2 hours, now mind you the difference between us at GFS and not so much you MBM guys, but other food companies is our freezer unloads out of the side door. Well 81 cases single handed out the side door isn't very easy. Takes time to do. However the rest of that stop isn't a bad stop, you get to use U-Boats and those U-Boats are the equivalent of probably 6-7 wheeler loads it's hard to guess, but you can put a lot more on a U-Boat then you can a 2 wheeler. Any how that stop comes off with U-Boats and oh gosh are U-Boats faster. I can wheel a U-Boat right into the trailer and load load load load load go grab another U-Boat load load load load load and boom! 2 U-Boats and 50 cases are serviced. Like I said it's the freezer out of the side door that's the killer.

Now like Performance Food Group and the other chain companies at GFS our ramps can be moved and Monday I had 54 cases to wheel out of the freezer well it was me on my own, I set up the ramp and had room in the freezer to move the wheeler and it wasn't to bad. However towards the end of the day you can usually break through the cooler dry freezer bulk head and then run the freezer out of the back which is a huge improvement over the side door huge improvement. Like C.A. Curtze that company has there trucks set up so they can run all the freezer out of the back and they side door nothing.

Sounds rough. I opened my van doors once today. It was a little tricky with the 6 mile an hour winds, but I managed.

I guess in our favor our ramps come out the 2nd side door (cooler), and with any luck the warehouse didn't #### us, I can get to dry and freezer with out moving the ramp. Today I had 9 stops 850 peieces aged 35 minutes 25min per stop. (from the point I went on line 4 to when I jumped to line 3) I feel like making it a challenge to see if I can beat my other times really helps. sometimes I can drop the ramp in the customers door, and others I have to jog a parking lot after coming off the ramp.... but playing tetris with the product saves me tons of trips... I can put 12 frzr pieces on my dolly, about 10 cooler... now dry I can sometimes gets 20+. Knowing the integrity of the boxes really helps

Today I was using the ramp on the freezer at a sea food restaurant that gets big orders of crab and other things. Usually if the freezer is in the 50s case count wise I'll use the ramp.

I opened my van doors 14 times today. Literally 14 times. I also had probably half a dozen extra trips or climbs up into the freezer on the side there, didn't even make it through the bulk head today. everything came out of the side door today. Not a single piece of freezer was run out of the back.
