I'm not sure of Macks. Usually they are under the kicker panel on the passenger side. It might be under the drivers side kicker panel. You can look under the hood where the main harness passes through the firewall. That will give you a clue. It should be near that inside.
There's a start until someone chimes in. Happy hunting! -
Thanks trying to run some grounds from it making rf noises lol. It's big n silver right?
-
Yeah it should be the biggest box. Trucks have like 5-6 ECU's. The ECM is the biggest one. It might be black, plain silver or even blue looking on ebay.
-
It depends on what engine you have really, but I know on the 2010 MP10's the ECM is mounted on the engine, drivers side mid engine block.
CondoCruiser Thanks this. -
I'm not 100% sure what one. It's a 2012 with cummins auto.

The ECM should be mounted to the engine block on the drivers side on a Cummins.

bjytech wouldn't that create a heat issue on the chips and components inside it? I've seen cars like that, just wondering.
-
The ECM's can take some heat but most on semi's have some sort of cooling, usually by having a cooling plate with fuel running through it to take the heat away from the ECM.

The cat ECMs have been mounted on the drivers side of the block since 95. No cooling block.
