2000 Mack Vision

    Hello Everyone,
    My step dad drives a 2000 Mack Vision and since it is an older model it does not have the hookup for an auxiliary cord or any other attachment. Me and my mom would like to get him a new and updated radio that he can use his phone through, has an auxiliary cord, and possibly a hookup for his Sirius radio. I was wondering if anyone knew any trusted dealers that i could find these at for a reasonable price. We are located near Nashville, Tennessee and their is a mack dealer there but i cant find anything on their site about selling them.

    Walmart sells radios w/ bluetooth capabilities, as does just about any other store that sells car stereos. The OEM radio is the same size as a standard car stereo.

    Alright. Do you know like the specifications and things to look for or is it just based off of the standard truck radio?

    If you have a best buy near you, call them, a lot will do installs of radios even on semis if you bobtail in. The only thing you will need is a wiring harness for the radio. Big Rig Stero (google) sells them, or you can buy a prewired radio from them. They have a pioneer DEH-X6700BS that is prewired, bluetooth, and sat radio. never used them don't know them just came up on google looking for a wiring harness. But about any single deck stero with bluetooth will be fine, and can just use and aux plug for the sat radio or get one that has the sat radio built in.

    Alright the best buy store in nashville will do it but the guy is on lunch right now. I am waiting to call him and see what he says about what we need and what we should get
