Yeah, I am still there. We have otr drivers in there all the time anymore. We got a new account manager at the beginning of the year. A lot of things changed! I deal with the same thing your hubby does sleep wise. If I go home, I lose at least 2 hrs driving back and forth. I usually get 6 hrs sleep...tops! If I have to do anything when I get home it ends up being much less. I usually only get home for about 7-15 hrs during the week, which is still more than I did otr. Tell him to look me up next week....truck 12146. A lot of things I won't put on here.

My suggestion would be to talk to some of the drivers face to face if possible. You will get a more detailed -honest answer than you will on here. As far as no flatbed experience, don't worry about that. They will train you. We run multi-stop delivers to building supply places around NC, SC, southern VA, southern WVA and eastern TN. AS far as pay, sleepers make more than daycabs. The salary posted on the add is what a sleeper could make i do believe...I don't think any of the daycab drivers make that. This account is a lot of work compared to being otr and the pay is less but the homeime is a little better. It is up to each driver to determin if it is worth it. I know I hope to stay here till Oct when I have my 2 years but we will see if that happens
