They aren't getting them like that anymore. Apparently one broke on a driver and he almost crashed.

I'm in one of the 680s with my trainer today (first day out, had to wait for one). This one has a Paccar but I saw the thermo king guys working on one with a cummins in Tulsa inspection, unless Paccar has suddenly stated painting the MXs red.
The engine is absolutely gutless. Hate it.
No no experience with the APUs on the 660s but my trainer assures me they cool much better than this one. It's been 2 hours since we stopped and the top bunk is only now becoming a bearable temperature.
The radio is an enigma.
That at being said it rides like its on clouds and shifts easy. I kinda like the big chunky cruise control buttons and the HUD is nice on tach mode.
Speaking of which, does anyone know how to reset the MPG meter? It consistently says 2.6. Which seems difficult to achieve.Last edited: Aug 25, 2014

What company are you running for kellanium?

Every ISX that I've seen has been painted red, and I've driven at least 20 trucks with the ISX in the last 2-3 years. In fact, all I've driven were trucks with an ISX except for a short time in a DD15 cascadia. Beats me!

Not sure about the 680's but in the 660's there's a button type deal by the odometer, press it to switch between trip A and trip B, hold to reset trip miles and fuel mileage.

On the APU deal, not sure if this is an officially approved fix, but if you leave your key in accessory with the APU running, you can use the sleeper fan and everything cools down much faster. So a point to 680. -
Melton is gettig 680's? That's nice. I like the ride of them a lot. But the condo would suck for flatbedding. They're also SUPER quiet. Well, the one I've ridden in I guess.
