I did a spreadsheet at home from the "How Many Miles" thread on here, and Millis drivers averaged between 2700-2800; I think the recruiter you talked to didn't want to blow any smoke up your arse (which is a refreshing change, I hear). The people I've talked to in person tell me they average even more.
