Well the truck is getting her first oil change this weekend, looks like she is slinging some some grease from the front drive shaft coupling not alot but some, Cory said they will get it to KW. Have a good weekend all.

Looks like I am going to be off on my first solo trip Monday if it gets repairs done to the steering by Eddies.

I am getting 662, a Peterbuilt with 460K with a nasty scratch down the left side. Anyone know the story on that unit?

I know that there is a machine shop in Fort Wayne that we pick material up at for Eaton in Shenandoah but it has been quite a while since I've been there so the specifics are kinda fuzzy. I've also picked ice cream up at Edy's in Fort Wayne going back to HyVee but that probably will not happen since Decker pretty much has that run on lock down.

Yepper, it has been at Eddies for a couple of days with steering issues being worked on but I have no idea about the regen. It is 1:30 on Tuesday and in theory, I have a load out tonight but so far I am not making money sitting at home waiting.

HEY, anyone know how to fire up the heater in a Peterbuilt in the sleeper? I don't see any controls for it on the pad in the back.

    Best to all.

There should be a dial that you twist that just has a little graphic of "more flow" like the HVAC system up front. You might or might not need the key in the accessory position for it to run.

Don't quote me on that, because I'm a little fuzzy on the memory. I'm sure the guys that were (and are) in Petes will know better.

On another track: Anybody ever have a broker send them to the wrong pickup location? And then change the receiver after you're loaded? To a city 300 miles different?
I'm fine with it now, but ###### if for awhile there I wasn't worried I was an accessory to some kind of freight theft.

Turns out it was a load of seeds out of Constantine Mich going to Brookings S.D.

I've been to Brookings a few times but out of Streator, IL tho, not a bad run just heavy as $%#@

Yeah, so that broker I mentioned 2 posts ago? I got to the "new" receiver, only to have them tell me that it wasn't their stuff. So where did I go? The original receiver.

    Oy.

I don't know what was going on, but I think somebody was trying to make a buck at my expense.

Hey Saienga, that sounds like the broker thought it was going to be a blind load but turned out not to be the case. Had a pretty decent past couple of days. I delivered in Salem, VA on Tuesday and I guess White Wave cancelled four of our loads which threw a monkey wrench in our plans. I ended up bouncing down to Tyson in Goodlettesville, TN, but that's cool since Tyson was paying us to deadhead there. They were late getting me out yesterday morning but I still made my appointment at Food Lion in Clinton, TN with five minutes to spare! I woke up to snow this morning in Findlay, OH on my way up to Newport & Lansing, MI for the last two stops. It is a little early for my liking to see snow in this part of the country!
