Well I had a road test with them today, paper work and drug screen tomorrow we'll see what happens? They seem like a good smaller reefer company and drive nice equipment; Pete's, KW's and Volvo all Cummins powered, plus they pay percentage. I guess they run hard as no one has responded. Be Safe.

Don`t know how they are now,but 10 years ago they were a top shelf company. If the Van Wyk family still owns the company, its probably still good-especially if you can get hired on being a rookie.Had a friend get hurt off duty there and they made sure he didn`t starve until he was able to return to work, which I thought was pretty cool.My knowledge of them pertains to the Waynesboro terminal.

Maverick, the percentage pay is 20.5%, then a raise at 60days, 6mos. then a year. I get an overall good vibe about them, but you never know. I take a drug test tomorrow and they are doing background now, should get the word on Friday. They tell me 5-6 out and 1-2 days home everyweek, a few multiple stops and haul alot of meat and other reefer type of products, not much dairy. Spoke to a driver yesterday who's been with them for 10 years and likes it and makes good money, your milage may vary? I applied at the Waynesboro terminal after an online app. that's where I did my road test, I was also told that they don't hire many rookies so maybe I'm lucky? They are still family owned.

Probably the economy but that is lower than I`ve ever worked on percentage. Not alot going on in this area truckingwise-even for experienced drivers,so this will be a great start for you. They keep their equipment up and spec`d out nice. All things considered I`d say you are lucky to get on,congrats and good luck.

rjones, I agree with you probably lucky considering who else I was looking at. I take my drung test today and once background get finalized, nobody is answering the phones, I go to Waynesboro on Tuesday for paperwork and a couple of days local while waiting for a trainer. I got my fingers crossed, plus at this stage I only expect so much, yea seem like they are organized with equipment and routing. Thanks.

hawkjr, not sure when those days are, I forgot to ask that question, but even though it may be during the week it's better than every two weeks. Well I'm off on Tuesday for final paper work and local training in Wayneboro before I hit the road, which may be two or three weeks depending on how I progress then out to Sheldon for a couple of days of orientation. After all of my research and other offer's, SNI and WEL I feel that these guys offer the best opportunity for a newbe in my position, I'll give it a year and then we'll see. About your quote on 23.5 percent I'm sure it's because of your experience. Be safe.
