If the complaint is anything like the average failed driver complaints on this forum, I suspect May Trucking will be just fine. In discovery it will come out what morons the failed students were.

Here is a link from a google search and a portion of the link.

(LEGAFI) -- A class action lawsuit against May Trucking Co. accuses the Salem, Oregon-based trucking company of overtime violations, paying unfair wages, making illegal deductions, and even charging drivers to cash their paychecks.

According to the May Trucking class action lawsuit, drivers are paid just $50 a day during their “entry level driving program,” during which they work more than 10 hours a day for two months. They are also paid only for the time they spend behind the wheel, and not for time spent loading and unloading trucks.

I once had a conversation with a senior admin guy at Stevens in Dallas. All of these companies that hire drivers with limited experience or trainess or have their own schools have their sh1t together about legal matters. There is a reason that there are so many forms to sign, contracts, disclaimers, loan agreements etc. There have it so tight with many lawyers on staff that every possible legal action has been thought of and planned for. I am not saying these companies are untoucheable, but they are not worried in the least about going to court.

There's a lot of BS in there,I was only with a trainer for 2 weeks not two months,it's all up to the new driver and how well they do just how long they're out there.
    Yes I got $50 a day or less,it was $350 a week but as soon as I got a truck I got 30cts a mile running solo Western 11.
As stated it was just 2 weeks and I got a truck right away.
The link says they charged drivers to get their pay from Com cards, that's also pretty much BS.
Yes the pay is loaded on your Com card but you get one free transaction per week, this can be a direct deposite to a bank account which is what I did.
I never paid a penny to get my money from May.
