I'm looking for a job with a company that uses APUs or that will allow power inverters in the truck. (I'm on a low carb diet and need to use an electric skillet.)
I also need good/quality health insurance with prescription coverage.
And, I'd need to drop my trailer near the house and bobtail home.
I'd LIKE to have the following:
I'd be grateful for any and all help with this list. I'm a 50 yo female. Not interested in running team. I live in the Bessemer AL are, have 12+ years driving experience - mostly dry box with a couple of years reefer. Looking to settle down with a company wherein I can overlook the bad days because I like the job so much.
- Manual transmission
- Auxillary plug/port/whatever to plug in satellite radio receiver and listen through the truck's stereo system.
- Volvo
- Prepass Plus (includes EZpass)
- E-logs
- Simple, logical Qualcomm macros
- Experienced, well trained operations staff (dispatcher, planners, coordinators, etc.) without any green college grads who've never been inside a truck.
- Experienced, well trained, and well staffed maintenance crew who will answer the phone and give drivers prompt, courteous service any time of the day or night.
- 2200 - 2500 mpw or more
Looking for a new job - companies that utilize APUs

I can tell you a good company but they have autos and might make you run team. You might checkout Benny Whitehead Inc located in Eufaula AL. According to their site they are hiring for regional and you need two years to get on with them. Might be worth looking into.

Try (ATC) American Central Transport. They have KW t660 i know you said volvo but everything else is there to the most part. Big Kid 2 is leased to them and seams to really like them. They have company trucks also mostly 2009 or newer. I used to work for them there a good outfit run mostly east of I-35 and you would probaly get through the house quite often. The volvo is about the only thing they don't have that you were asking for. Good Luck with whatever you find...

I appreciate the input y'all. Thanks much. I've worked for BW before - don't like the ownership much. BW used to have good equipment though. Will look into Heyl and ATC.
Would still appreciate any other suggestions. The Challenger and 123456 Thank this.
