Lol sorry I didnt notice that. Go to the top of the screen and click "search" and type in "Falcon Transport". There dont seem to be too many threads about the company...The one I posted is the first one that wasnt just somebody asking "Does anyone know about Falcon?" and those didnt get any real replies.

During 2011 I worked in Falcons van division hauling auto parts for the GM Lordstown Ohio plant. Not the worst company to work for but there are issues you should be aware of and ask about.

First off the equipment is pretty beat up, older high mileage international 9200i series tractors. About half the fleet is automatics, you pretty much have to watch for someone driving a 10 speed to quit and ask you FM if you can have their tractor. They were buying used Internationals with 350,000 on them when I left.

I cant speak for the skateboards but most of the vans were leased units that were well past their prime, just finding one that pulled straight and didn't need an axle alignment or had doors you didn't have to fight with to close was considered a good day.

You will have to keep a very close eye on your pay sheets ... many loads of mine were short paid and it seemed to be an endless stream of calls to get things straightened out. At one point it was calling the VP of Operations and still couldn’t get things straight, which is what triggered my resignation.

Night time breakdown was a nightmare. I on more than one occasion I was treated as if their 600,000 mile truck breaking down was all my fault! It got to the point where I was so feed-up with the attitude I would get from the woman who ran the night time breakdown dest that I would just park it till the day shift showed up so I could get the thing fixed!

Definitely not the worst starter company out there, just don’t paln it being a long career with Falcon unless you are a very patient person ... hope this helps.

Automatics are easy... push one button to drive... press another if you want to go down a steep grade with a heavy load.. then make sure you put in neutral before shut down.

I was thinking of running with falcon in a daycab but decided it wasn't really what I wanted after seeing their crappy equipment. Found a tanker company and actually enjoy being a tanker yanker at the moment. Definitely a whole lot different then driving over the road haha.

I worked for Falcon's flatbed out of Weirton WV, The company isn't the greatest but my dispatcher treated me good. My truck was a 05 should have been retired years ago the trans was shot and the turbo leaked I would write it up or call breakdown they would ignore the subject. I only had a couple of problems with my pay check overall not to bad if you arnt looking to get rich
