Can't say about OTR but, I doubt you're going to find much bad with them. I'd definitely take it if they offer you the job.

    Nolimitlightning Thanks this.

Sounds like linehaul. R&L is LTL. They are big company with pretty decent equipment. They pay around what most of the middle of the pack LTL's pay. Them vs Otr carriers I would go to them cause you'll see your bed everyday and pay in LTL is usually better then most Otr carriers.

Thanks for the input, I was with Swift dedicated to Walmart for 16 months, I've been at the bottom and like everything I've heard about LTL carriers.

Yeah, it's busy season right now good time to get on and get some seniority. So they'll keep you busy. Pay is way better then that. I worked there. Your average cpm will be in the mid .40's but I don't know if they go cpm or hourly. R&L isn't a bad choice at all. You'll do linehaul so pretty easy don't know if they work dock or not. Heard their laid back. If you can get used to runnin nights but some terminals have days you'll be ok. It's easy to money to me.

ive heard of drivers working the dock at R&L. Not sure if its the line or p/d guys. Also they might have teams as well. I see a ton of R&L sleepers around by me. The few I spoke with never complained so Im sure its a good place to be

Several years ago, I worked with a guy who had worked there as a city driver. He said R&L told him he was required to purchase a two wheel cart, and a pallet jack, at his expense, to do his job. They also wanted all the city guys to have matching R&L winter jackets, again, at an $85.00 expense to the driver.

I was wondering this too. I'm trying to move to the Atlanta area & I think I seen R & L hiring down there for 20.00 an hour. Also seen Conway looking for drivers down there too......
