Just trying to get some feedback on a few companies, A buddy of mine has just completed his 2 year with Magnum. Although he's been pretty happy with the way he's has been treated. I guess he would like to try and improve his hometime and a few more cents per mile.
Like I told him, u have be careful going to another company just for a cent or two... U might not be treated the way u are at your current company.
But he is at the point now were he got 2 years exp now and could change companies and get a nice raise...
Anyway... these are companies he is trying to get some feedback on
1. Dutchmaid logistics Willard Ohio.
2. Mast Trucking Millersburg Ohio
3. B&L Transport Inc Millersburg Ohio
Info on a few reefer companies.....

Here's some answers to questions that I had and got in response to Mast Trucking--
1. We mostly haul meat, eggs, cheese and milk.
2. We start off at .40 cpm after a 30 day review you would be eligible for up to .05 cpm safety bonuses, paid weekly.
3. About 75% of what we do delivers to , Eastern PA, VA, MD, DE, NJ & NY.
4. Where you live, you would be home most weekends.
5. Inverters are allowed (we will put it in for you) some of our trucks have APUs
And for Dutchmaid--
We haul mostly Frozen Foods and primarily Ohio to the east coast NJ-PA-MD-NY and the New England states we do run some South East but not a lot. We get you home 3 out of 4 weekends on an average. We are specking all of our Newer trucks with APUs that are 2010 and newer and that is over half the fleet and all the trucks with APUs have 1500 watt inverters ..But when you start you will probably have one of the older trucks so the answer is yes our shop will install your inverter. The answer to your last question is that about 50% of our freight is drop and hook which means the other 50% is live load or unload and we do our best to get drivers in and out of docks in a couple of hours but I would be a big fat liar if I told you this happens every time.mile marker Thanks this. -
Since your friend drove for Magnum, why doesn't he look into Holland Enterprises? Also out of Fargo.
Coast to coast runs, no forced NYC,
not micro managed. no rail yards.mile marker Thanks this. -
Thanks Cutty and TDriver for the response. I talk to a couple of Mast drivers while out on the road and they seem to like it there.
Can't seem to catch a Dutchmaid driver though.
skibum, Yes Holland would be a good choice. I have talk to some of your drivers and there always talking good about the company, but he's trying to get home alittle more and try and still make the some money with the hopes of alittle more.skibum_63 Thanks this. -

Mast Trucking is a great place to work IF you have integrity and a positive attitude and you treat people as you would like to be treated.
When I came to Mast Trucking it was, I thought, too good to be true. I was waiting for the bubble to burst and they show their true colors. Their true colors show from the first answered call "Mast Trucking, this is......." You can trust your first impression. They treat their drivers better than like family.
I found that they are people of their word. They value their drivers, they take care of their customers and their equipment.
Find out for yourself, call them Phone number deleted look them up on the Web at Masttruckinginc.com
You won't regret it. Good pay, good hometime, good equipment. EXCELLENT people.
Thanks for reading this.
