But, I'd rather ask a stupid question than make a stupid mistake!

If your company requires a sleep apnea test is that considered line 4 on duty or off duty?

It depends on your company,I would put it down as off duty your not working. If you went home and had to see a doctor on your off time would you mark it on your log book and mess up your 34? I would talk to your co-workers because your safety guy will probably tell you to mark it on duty not driving and if you do watch your hours disappear.

On Duty Technically, key word is required. But I would log it line 1.

You have one heck of a medical plan. I don't know of a single dr that will give an apnea test in the sleeper of a truck.

Who cares? God does anyone think that we should log every moment of every day? I know we do but come on. I can assure you there will be no consequences either way.

It's not a DOT physical & drug test after the accident, however, a requirement of the carrier!

Since the company required it, you are in the service of the employer and I would require pay for the time spent driving to and from and while taking the test.
