Melton is the better choice but it's hard getting home time with them. My suggestion is Western Express. They are a little less strict. Then after about six months, get on with WTI. Excellent company to work for

Meltom is the best!

I heard that Maverick has a good flatbed training program and pays well. That maybe another one you may what to look at. From my research both Melton and Hunt seem like good companies to work for, but Hunt Transportation and Shaffer Trucking are both a division of Crete Carrier and they have really good benefits. Who ever you choose, remember winter is coming and flatbed isn't as busy in the winter from what I'm told. I'm sure their are others on here that know more about it then I do. I'm just going by my research, but what ever you decide on good luck and be safe out there.

If I ever decided on flatbed id look at:
TMC
systems transport
ATS(Anderson)
melton
PGT
check those out, and it may depend where you live
