Training is 58000 miles, 15 month contract if you attend their school, and for the most part, you will be team for the first 15 months. They have company trucks, lease trucks, and with two years with them they will go to selectrucks with you and co-sign a truck of your choosing. (Per the recruiter I just talked to)

I started with Wil-Trans on the 30th of March.I already had my cdl so i didn't have to sign a contract or have to spend 15 months with a team/trainer.Thanks to everyone who has replied. The drivers that i have talked to have good things to say.I live in florida and usually it is hard for companys to get you home but i was able to get home after only 8 days and was able to get a load out right away.Helps when my co-driver lives in florida also.I will post some updates next time i get a chance. If anyone has questions please feel free to ask...

I talked to them. Even put in an app. Then talked some more. was pretty much told I could come to work for them. Only one problem. I was told they had no open OTR solo jobs. they were all full and my choice would be team drive or lease. From what I read on there web site you have to team with someone for 6 mths. before you can qualify for the lease. I looked over the fixed cost and the payments for there lease and decided that wasn't the way to go for me. If I could have gotten a solo company Job I would have went to work for them. They seem like a good company to work for. Good luck to all of you starting out with them.

wow, i was told they had solo open, team or lease..hm maybe i should contact my recruiter again and see if this is still true. I dont have my cdl's so i would have to team drive anyways but i dont wanna go with a lease right now especialy in this economy at the present time. I want to go company solo thats all i have set in my sights at the moment. anyone know how many miles you drive with a trainer? and another newb? they say theres 3 parts but i cant figure out the 3rd?? and do they pay for transportation up ther to mo for training?? for got to ask my recruiter

Hello all, just signed up on the forum and I must say it's very informative. I just put in an app. with Angela in recruiting. I have my CDL but don't have recent OTR experience. What can I expect once hired as far as training goes? I have a ton of questions that need to be answered but I'll just start with this one. Thanks.
