I received a call yesterday from Energy Enterprises, they offered me a job and would like me to start...NOW! They offered decent pay, 100% drop and hook, flat bed, hot shot, team, solo, tanker, dry van. I know, I know (if it sounds to good....):biggrin_25520:
Can anyone tell me anything about them?

I'm not sure if anyone really cares about this post or company, but I went in for an interview the other day to find out what they had.

They want me to run flatbed, or tanker, solo, I could run teams if I want, but I decided for teams I would rather go out with someone I already know, all my driving friends are in pretty good positions already. So I am thinking tanker, I won't start until March because of my Military commitment but they assure me that they will have a position for me. They are a VERY small company, and just bought out another fleet.

They have all newer to brand new internationals 10-18 speeds, the 18 speeds are all located down in the mining district and I have the option to do that if I want. They say their drivers are getting plenty of miles and while I was talking to them, they had 5 drivers that wanted to be home for Christmas, so they were looking for short runs for them so they could be and not be stuck out on the road for the Holiday.

What is the average for tarping pay? They are offering I think he said 30.00 if you have to tarp.

They offer insurance after 60 days, AND it is the same company that insures my wife.

This all sounds pretty good to me. What do you all think?

I've been driving in Utah for about 23 years, these guys send me emails all the time asking me to come to work for them. Normally I wouldn't consider interjecting my opinion, but considering you military service I'll do you a favor. They have an extremely high turn over rate thus always looking for drivers. If your looking for something with good pay, benefits and great home time (daily). Considering where you live first I'd suggest savage trucking they have a lot to offer a perspective employe. 2nd I'd suggest Barney Trucking, they too have been a great outfit to work for. Drivers seem to average around $22 to $25 am hour and have excellent benefits package. Good luck with whatever you decide, and thanks for your service.

    Thank You Jack,
I appreciate your input, I will look into Savage and Barney. I grew up here and know that Savage is solid company.

Jack may I ask whom you work for, if I apply to one of these companies and you work for them, I want to make sure to show you as a referral.

    Thanks again.
