I've talked to a few Smith drivers and the general impression that I get is that they are mediocre at best. Their trucks look sharp though.

The company is not bad, miles sometimes you get 2500 nd sometimes you get less average lenght of haul is anywhere between 200 to 800 equipment are well taken care of but they don't give the nice peterbilt with long nose to new hire you gotta be there for 5 years or more, dm are okay but you know people having a bad day sometimes nd you know they will find someone to blame which is gonna be you. it's a good small outfit if you can get your feet in just go for it nd u wont regret it.

They can have them. Never saw the appeal (too cramped). That is not a "reward" for being there for 5 years is it? Seems more like a punishment to me. Give me a Cascadia, so I can stand up out of the drivers seat, and do jumping jacks if I want to.

That's really not the case... They give what they have available at the time. I've talk to guys that just started with petes, there older ones. And there shop?? That's one of the biggest complaints u will hear from drivers... They just put u in another truck. Not saying there a bad company by no means... Just heard way too many drivers complain about there shop.
