HERE ? Before I left, I was told that they were going to resume training new drivers and that they were in the process of returning former trainers to the "trainer trucks". The trainer trucks have two bunks, so they are heavier. When things got slow they pulled the trainers out of those to save weight. So it's all a process and will take some time. Best wishes!

Good luck with TA, I applied last week, called yesterday and was told by Christy that they are hiring "other" drivers, well good for them. I'm perplexed, nothing on my record would prevent my hiring, and I graduate on 6/24 so who knows? Maybe I'm too old? Oh well I'm sure there's a reason. Onward!

I just got off the phone with their recruiting dept & was told that as far as NC goes, their trainee positions are currently full due to the large number of recent classes and the shortage of trainers that are available.
However, they are willing to take your application on file and when things open up, they claim to being willing to call you to see where you stand at that point.Hope that helpsironhand Thanks this. -
I actually believed these guys were different!! I got jerked along for about 2 months with these guys. Everytime I contacted them they affirmed that they were still hiring in my area. I called my recruiter about 3 weeks ago and got the run around on about 3 different occasions. She kept saying she would call me back but never did i had to call her back. I was finally told that they are not hiring in Tennessee anymore, they would call me when they want me. I then emailed them through their website using a different name... and was told that they are hiring in tennessee and that they have orientation that monday specifically for tennessee drivers only! I would be careful with this company and how much I believe of what they tell me. They will lie to you and tell you what you want to hear. My background and MVR are immaculate. This proves to me that their practices are deceiving and are tuned to meet their needs and not for open honesty between the company and the drivers. Why they would keep telling me to "please keep in touch we are just short of trainers" I dont know ...but they did. For all you guys waiting for them I would be careful. I Got Burned. I know I cant be the only one.
