Not first-hand, but I've spoken to several RCM drivers and each one had good things to say about their equipment and their miles. But again, I've never worked for them.
grunntly Thanks this. -
No info posted on their web site about driving jobs so I'll post whatever I learn.
Thanks and God Bless
DaveJustSonny Thanks this. -

I worked at RC Moore for a year or so. Its a fine company with good equipment. They run newer model KW's (95% of them black). They are not a large company. I left because I needed to find a different "shift". My runs were mostly overnight regional. I wanted more day work.
Wish ya the best, maybe be catch you at the Scarborough Maine terminal. -
Rocket
Quick question, Friend of mine wanted to know if they hire from ohio.
Looked at the website did't see hiring map. I know they have a terminal in Pa now.
Thanks mile marker -
i worked for moore...they are very good people....maine terminal is clean and runs are regional...most runs are new england from what i know and they DONT hire based on DAC!!!!!
of course living near the terminal is better because you can go home during the week and have weekends off. SAtarting pay is 29cpm though
and they tack on the 11 cent per mile perdiem
u dont have a choice in how you you get paid. -
Any other info on R C Moore out here?

I dont see as many of their trucks as I used to

they allow the the guy in charge of breakdown ( brad ) to cuss out the drivers as if the breakdown is their fault- i know this first hand- twice last Friday --- the tandems would not slide- and he would not let me explain what i had done to get them to slide- (ie chocks , curb) after @ hour he calls back with no one to come fix- i agree to drive home the 337 miles around 4 scales to make the delivery- just b4 getting home the on board computer that's been down all day pops up that the load that im under needs to be set at 40 degrees- so i stop to fuel the truck and the reefer- after doing so the reefer would not run but 20-30 seconds and stop- i call breakdown the tell me that i have to call brad at home because he on call this weekend- not wanting to -but i call him- here is where the 2nd cussing out comes in- after he started cussing me i hung up the phone and called the troutman , north carolina personnel mgr cell phone and i tell him whats going on and he sides with the foul mouth grease monkey-- I QUIT as soon as those words came out of his mouth- went straight to the troutman terminal turned in their equipment and clean out the truck--- I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING TO WORK FOR THEM
