They pay per mile & barrel plus other incentives. So far I'm averaging $300 a day & working 6 days a week.(not including bonuses). There are some making $400-$500 per day but they know every corner of the fields.

Any info on suncoast's crude hauling outfit? I'm thinking of moving back to Houston and I know they haul from there. Just wondering if anyone has info on their pay, hours, etc. I keep hearing they are a good company.

Highly doubtful,,the insurance that carries our companies require a minimum of one year experience hauling hydrocarbons...

Suncoast was hauling crude oil for Plains Marketing in Medford Oklahoma..They were recently released from their contract early due to all the mistakes their drivers were making..Plains is in the habit of selling crude oil not produced water,,apparently Suncoast drivers were not trained to use a tank thief properly or to work crude oil to API standard.

Wow I would have thought suncoast would be better than that! A driver told me they are making 22$ an hour hauling crude in south Texas. They're paid strictly by the hour but are thinking about switching their pay to a daily rate.
