Luzon nailed it and I would add Quality Carriers and Gold Spur to the list of crude haulers.

As for non crude hauling I see the usual suspects like Halliburton, Baker Hughs, and Key Energy in my neck of the woods.

Stallion Oilfield Services, Pioneer Resources, Francis Drilling Fluids are a few of the yards I drive past. They haul water, equipment, etc for the oil patch.

Heys guys, I know a guy here in Ft. Worth that is looking to hire a driver. I dont know many details but he told me that its hauling frac sand in south Texas. Three weeks on and one week off although he is flexible on this. He is paying a percentage of the load. MUST have 2 years CDL experience.

Thats all of the details that I know. If you are interested pm me and I will get his contact info to you.

IF anyone is wanting to get into FRAC-ing Ill tell you who to go apply to, or who is hiring.

Sanjel is hiring in south texas (san antonio)
Weatherford just built a massive yard in San Antonio and is now hiring
GasFrac is new to south texas and just started hiring in the San Antonio area
Pioneer Natural Resources starts pay at $23/hour and is needing to hire 400 guys between now and December in Midland, Texas.

Trican is hiring in Texas as well as CUDD. Key Energy is as well, Hillcountry is a 3rd party contract company hiring here as well.

Also, ANYONE looking to get into the oilfield that will be working a rotation (ie- 2 weeks on, 1 week off, 3 weeks on, 1 week off) make SURE you clarify if you will be getting paid on that week off!!! A lot of companies pay you a straight 40 on that week off, but some dont. I made the mistake recently of not asking and now 1 week a month I sit at home and make NO money, thus forces me to work my week off. Just a heads up!

[IMG]One of the Largest Domestic Discoveries of Oil in the Past 40 Years, the Eagle Ford Shale is a significant hydrocarbon producing formation due to its capability of producing both more gas and oil than other traditional shale plays. It contains a much higher carbonate shale percentage, upwards to 70% in south Texas. As it moves across Texas to the northwest, the play becomes shallower and the shale content increases. The high percentage of carbonate makes it more brittle and easier to frac. The shale play trends across Texas from the Mexican border up into East Texas, roughly 50 miles wide and 400 miles long with an average thickness of 250 feet.

Production of crude oil has increased from 842 Barrels Per Day in 2009 to over 7,000 BPD in 2010. Projected to be the largest domestic oil and gas discovery in the last 40 years, a preliminary estimate of production indicates a reserve in the Eagle Ford Shale that could be more than 4.7 billion barrels of crude oil, or roughly twice the size of the massive Bakken shale in North Dakota. That equates to 200,000 BPD for the next 65 years.

I just found that is a site that is hiring!.:biggrin_255:
