If I may ask, when do you start working in the oil industry and when do you ventured to the North Dakota region.
-
since summer of last year. the money was good for starting out but traveling from north dakota to cali everytime i had home time was a huge hassle. if i can make some good money in cali oilfields i would try for it
-
Did you have any experience in oil ? When you started working in North Dakota?
-
nope had no experience in oil got a job cuz a buddy worked there

How is the job market right now in the area ( I'm assuming you are residing in the northwestern area of the state). I plan on getting a CDL A and heading out in the Spring time to look for employment. I have no experience in the oil or trucking industry. I'm interested in the wireline operator position.
What are my chances of landing a job? Worst case scenario, if I'm not able to land a job in the oil industry, can I at least find employment at Walmart, making $17/hr? -
The walmart in hobbs nm had a sign out paying 12.55 for a cashier and 13.60 for night stocker.

Is NM booming?
