Hi I am from Cali thinking to change trades and was thinking to getting into trucking but want to see about going to ND oilfields to get my experience along with a living wage... Can anyone give me some outlook? What wages would I be looking at to start with no experience and the best place to start my experience?

I got work in ND from Cali. Go to water well where drivers are loading ask for job. I got training and work and lodging this way in less than 24 hrs.

Started at $25/hr got $30/hr after 2 months.

Notre Dame, Thats where you should be thinkingmje Thanks this. -
Thx for the quick response. When did you begin/year? And what is the outlook today? Is the competition or overflow of man power limiting inexperienced drivers? My outlook will be to get my CDL license and drive up there in need of a job.. Thx again for your time Trenton

Having a CDL with no recent experience is as bad as no CDL seems like!

Is driving school an option for you? I think MBI will hire out of school. Good luck

Began 2 years ago. Outlook is + at these Bbl prices. Lots of turnover inexperience is not a hurdle.
Allhart Thanks this.
