Cheapest extended stay housing in Midland.

    Been looking at rates to stay in Midland for 4-6 weeks during training until I find an apartment. Does anyone know of any affordable places to stay? The only and "cheapest" place I found was Value Place @ $560 a WEEK. Ridiculous.

    Midland... Texas...? You probably ain't seen nothing yet. Prices increase in relation to the average income in temporary boom towns. A domestic beer is probably $6-10. Most of the people who got rich during the CA and AK gold rushes mined their gold from miner's pockets.

    Value place was 699 a week last year. Try the hotels at wall st and midkiff intersections I think there is like 6 of them. The cheapest in Odessa, Tx will be on 2nd st which is also I20 Business. I found one for 300 a wk. I decided to get a travel trailer it really is the most economical.
