differance between tx and nd oilfield jobs (truck driving)

    ....I'm more worried about the humidity! If it's dry, I'll be fine! Midland doesn't get very hot in the summer IMHO.

    Fresh water guys in ND earn from 80k-150k depending on how hard their companies run them. The big companies run legal and are toward the lower end. The smaller companies do not run legal, in log or equipment, and are toward the upper end. The typical benefits of large firms are absent at smaller firms. So is consistency in work load.

    From my contacts in TX, they typically earn 1/3 less.

    Pay in ND is typically hire to try keep the people there. In ND as a Frac operator I was making 21.05 hr here in Texas its 16.00. A Mudlogger in ND starting as a trainee is 17.00 Texas is 8.50. So they pay is better but the weather if a SOB
