Any chance on a referral for South Texas?

MANY of the jobs available through Elwood Staffing (formerly SOS Staffing) including a lot of Schlumberger jobs aren't actually listed as searchable on the site.

If you register on Elwood's website and input your resume, contact info, etc, they will often call you to ask you to interview for a listing which isn't live on the site, so it's worth it to do just that.

I've never received any response at all from SOS, let alone a random call:(

Well first off, that might be because there is NO "SOS Staffing" anymore. They're "Elwood Staffing" now and they have a new site with a whole new registration process. Odds are good that your registration may not have switched over to their new site. Register with Elwood online if you haven't already.

Second, do you have a CDL-A with Haz-Mat, Air Brakes, and Tankers? If so, be SURE to let them know. If nothing else, they'll be able to get you on a frac or cement crew.

Third, if you have ANY experience in manual labor, farming, mechanics, etc be sure to highlight it. They LOVE to see people who actually have experience with hard, grueling, "get your hands dirty" work.

If you do all that, I don't see how they wouldn't have SOMETHING to offer you.

I don't think I've ever seen anything in there for CDL information?

And yes, the registration switched over. The backend system is from the SOS site. It's exactly the same

There are several places you can list it in their registration process. It should also be on the resume you submit.

Lol well that's not a great sign then. Good luck man, I'm sure you'll get something good.

PS- There's also Nexus staffing. They got my buddy a great job on a wireline crew in Midland and he had no prior oilfield experience and no CDL at all.

    Patrickm213 Thanks this.
