Only 40 during training? That's the opposite from the yards around BS. During training you get max hours and then they kick you out into the cold hard world. I was getting 66-70+ and the established drivers in my yard were finishing at 2pm because BS has no customers.

Yup..just 40. they always told us it was a decision set by corporate but once I went to school in San Angelo, I found out it was all bs. I went on my own soon after, and started making more money but now its so slow, I'm about to leave. Just waiting for my background to go through. I would give notice but have heard that if I give a 2 weeks notice, most likely they will release me immediately.
-
Since it's slow they probably will just let you go. I know places like Snyder, people were leaving left and right and they would beg them to stay. It was pretty embarrassing to see.
I found out a lot in San Angelo too. Going there really killed the job for me because I found out how effed up everything was at my yard. -
Nabors does have a man camp in pecos. And I think they still have one in crane. From what I heard from a buddy working out of pecos they are busy that way. Just dont come to big spring I will let yall know if it ever picks up here my uncle works out of bs
