Anyone have any info on this company up there? Seen an ad advertising $525 a day and I got an email from the owner wondering if I was ready to work pretty much. Still working on getting my hazmat and once that's finished I'll be ready to take the jump.

Not sure didn't really ask I jusy replied to an ad on Craigslist, just trying to put on some feelers. Also does anybody know what companies deliver diesel to service all the equipment and other stuff in the oil fields?

They misspelled 'pipeline' on the front page of their website, and 'training' on the 'about us' page. That is not a good sign. They also say they will train you for their contractors. Do a lot more research on this.

    rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

lol yea I noticed that too. Like I said not like I'm taking the job that was presented to me just trying to get a feel for what is out there and make the move with the right company and of course be in the right situation. I heard that the companies that deliver diesel to service the equip and trucks pay decent also is that true?

Yep, I know them very well. Good owner but i would just about bet you'll rarely see 500 in a day. More like 400 but maybe.

Rolfson oil is one of the biggest distributors of diesel in the ND. oil field. I got is out all around now, but the reviews are quite bad so I don't think I would make the leap to them.

Correction: used to be one of the biggest. They have adds out, but I haven't seen any of their trucks on the road since last year. Then again, I drive within a very small area north of New Town.

    Update on Rolfson:

Two buddies of mine drove diesel for them for several months. They were promised 70 hrs/wk by Ron (recruiter) and Anna (previous recruiter) but both averaged 50 hours since January, so they ditched. They also said some of the stories online about getting underpaid are true. Rolfson has lots of exceptions to driver hourly pay, it seems, and is not the great opportunity they claim to be. Hopefully, oil will continue North of $70/bbl and bring in some competition to squeeze out Rolfson etc.

    rabbiporkchop and Rodeorowdy Thank this.
