Meh, you can make the same in Texas, or Oklahoma, or Colorado. And, the weather is better, and there's the lower cost of living, available housing, etc., etc.
Btw, commission befits the efficient. Working by the hour is for those who want to log a ton of hours, not those who want to make their money and have a life. I've worked both, in a variety of jobs, and commission is better by far.

Well boys and girls I will be in Midland this Friday. Starting the orientation process on Monday and be in my truck by Labor Day. Three years OTR in dry van I'm looking forward to a nice bed everyday. I'll be doing a 5/2-5/3 schedule. No night shifts and living in an RV on the lot. Best part is a Wal-Mart just 6 miles away..haha
