I'm not saying they don't work for pushing a light product like cement out of a trailer but they won't work for a heavy grain like frac sand. The contamination apart was already covered by big duker but I'll add that they are worried about the contamination of mixing it with their chemicals as well. The oil companies have a certain standard that they expect a well to produce at and anything below that is blamed on the frac whether it's their fault or not so I wouldn't want to #### up a 5 million dollar frac over a five thousand dollar blower.

yeah I agree with heavyhaul... I wouldn't even be comfortable showing up to the gaurd shacks with a system like that on there.. I'd rather spend the money an do it right.. and I don't think I can leave the roper on and have a hot air blower also... I guess it depends on the pto

iv never hauled sand but if i was looking to have both on a truck id set it up off a wet line pto rather than running two pto's. but just from a weight stand point alone i would not want two pumps on my truck unless i had a use for each pump. if you otherwise like the truck and its a good buy take the fluid pump off and sell it and put your blower on.
