    does anybody know of any companies in the Bakersfield area that is hiring class A drivers for the oil fields , my husband has a class A drivers license and right now drives OTR, but he would like to work closer to home any advice ?? he has 6 mos OTR experience plus 8 plus years local mixer driver experience we live in California about 1 hour away from Bakersfield any advice would be welcome

    The oilfields I heard about in CA is actually in Bakersfield? I would think it's far away into the boonies?
