If you are interested in a Sand job send me a message and I will give you contact info. Guaranteed salary $1500 a week. Shared room in hotel ( 2 person)with you and hubby no problem. We work on call up to 15 hours with a 10 hour break. Normally less than 12 hours. Pick up a load of sand, drive to the site and hang out in the cab (sleep). OR Relive a driver, ride in the van and take over the load. Sometimes blow off and return to the yard and sometimes sleep the whole time. LAZY job but I did get 70 hours in last week. The hardest part is moving the hoses sometimes, and backing into tight areas.
TAKE your time , be safe, and wear PPE. That includes respirator when blowing off, silica is NOT good for you.
I am working 10 weeks on and 3 weeks off. Other people are working 2on 1 off, or 4on 2 off.

I have a friend who did crude hauling (at night) and he said it was a ##### to find the tank batteries sometimes. I know it's hard to find rig sites sometimes with the small signs they put out (old eyes). My friend said you think that's hard try to find a tank battery that's not marked at the road.. I DON"T know, I have never hauled crude.

    Good luck
    Jim

Also you might look at FRAC fueling with pilot or Thomas.

    jte, PM sent.

We will be in Midland/Odessa tomorrow so we will be checking out a few places to see if they are hiring and what they have to offer. We will see what we can come up with!

Im currently in school to get my cdl and will be finished in January. I currently live in EL Paso, Texas and will be moving my family there with me. I am planning on purchasing a mobile home in Las Cruces (much cheaper than anyplace I've seen) and moving it to Midland/Odessa when I graduate. I know plenty of people who work out there so finding employment will not be a problem, but I am curious to know how much are lot fee's for mobile homes in the Midland/Odessa area? Are there plenty of spaces for people looking to rent lots? Ive been looking everywhere and cant seem to find the answer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard that there are RV spaces still available but we haven't checked those out yet. I do know they have some mobile home parks. You may try to search for those on Google and see what you can find. You can probably find a number and call to see what is open. Sorry I don't have more info!

Thinking about buying a truck and having a friend drive for me. I work in Coil Tubing and i love my job. So what I am wondering is does the company you lease your truck too pay for the truck insurance. I am wanting to buy the truck to haul crude. And how much a week does the truck make on average?

From my perspective hauling sand or hauling crude would be your best bet. I spent two years on a frac crew, moved to hauling water for six months to get the tanker experience and now have been hauling crude for the last six months. I have been in my current truck for nine days of work and made 3900 bucks. Most crude trucks should gross 9000 or more per week. I am 42 years old and busted my butt just as hard as the twenty year olds but I knew that my body wouldn't hold up like that for years to come. Too much Texas football growing up.

Did you and your husband find work out there yet?
If your still looking PM me and I'll give you info to a good company that would take both of you, $1700 per week guaranteed and free accomadation.

Yes I drive for an O/O. I seem to be running a little harder than most at this company but not all. I take the truck 10 miles out of the way and sleep at home every other night when I could run halfway back to the wells and get farther ahead the next day.
