Hi. I have seen Enterprise trucks in the Texas oilfields and have come across a number of their yards. Does anyone have the good, the bad, and the ugly on this company? I heard they pay percentage and the drivers buy their oil? Not sure whats going on, but definitely interested in the details. Any insight would be appreciated.

Good pay,up to $400 on night shift(At least at the Healdton,Ok yard) Very strict on safety. They hide out and watch drivers, etc. Top benefits. Solid company with lots of pipe in the ground.
Roadnoise Thanks this. -
Thanks for the reply okiejon. Do you know the pay structure there? Is that 400 based upon a certain percent of load? If so do you know the percentage drivers there are makimg?

I believe they pay mileage and bbl pay but I may be wrong. They are not hourly. Night shift gets $20 or so a load more than day shift I believe.

Enteprise is now under 150 or under per load and by the bbl. Most other companies let you haul at least 30-80 bbl more per load. In west tx and nm, you also have to go thru a fitment test for H2S. Impossible to do 400 a day. more like 300

At the Pleasanton terminal, we get paid 27% (rate per bbl is determined by miles), and night shift differential is $21 per load. Day shift is making $200-$300 per day; night drivers are doing $300+. The benefits are awesome! We're hauling a lot of condensate; I haven't hauled an H2S load in several weeks.
Most of our trucks are 300K miles or less, most trailers are air-ride, and the mechanics take good care of the equipment. Mine has 322K, but drives like it only has 100,000.
To succeed here: run legal weight, turn in accurate paperwork on time, never let a drop touch the ground, and definitely report any spill, even if it's just a few drops.
