Ask a Peterbilt Dealer!

Check the unloader valve in the top of the compressor. After SEVERAL trips to the parts /service dept of our local Pete/worthless dealer and knowing all along what the problem was the shop manager finally said what the problem was....Hey maybe the Pete store that's SUPPOSED to reply is really my local dealer.....


OOPS !!! Just re-read your post and saw you replaced the whole compressor and the problem is still there.Good luck.

 

I have a clutch (108925-20AM- EverTough by Eaton). Is it possible to tell me which Peterbuilts it is compatible with?

 

i have 2001 379 with digital message center (DHC) my problem is when i set the time date etc all is fine untill i turn off the key everything goes back to previous setting like jan 22 2004 was hoping someone could help thnks

 

I'm guessing that we aren't as important anymore. And with any relationship - commitment has no meaning.
Thats a shame, because if the Pete Store was patient, somebody who is contemplating purchasing a truck would remember how they were perhaps helped on this forum.

Hello I have a 379 Pete and the ac blows cold driving hot at a idle fan clutch is not coming on what could be the problem

 

I have 07-08 Pete 389. My problem is that the speedo moves at a dead stop. It stops me from being able to do a regen. Have you heard of this before? Any help would really help.

 

Are we having the same problem here at home (AB), I haven't needed paccar specific parts for a while.??

 

It's probably something along the lines of the original guy transitioning to a new job and whoever took over, doesn't know this exists. Sad. It was nice while it lasted.
