Hey all!
Just got into an 09 386 with 237k and am noticing the front suspension creaking and popping when going over rougher terrain. This is primarily exhibited from the driver's side but happens from the passenger side too if the road is rough enough.
I do not see anything abnormal and I've inspected it thoroughly.
Any ideas?

needs grease in suspension pins

Roger that! Thx a mil!

Exactly what he said. It needs a good grease job.

might also be warn spring shackle pins, from lack of grease.
jr-transport Thanks this. -
I could be wrong but i don't think that year has zerks (grease fittings) on the spring shackles. They probably need to be replaced. Horton and Kaiser offer aftermarket with grease fittings. My 08 389 has the same problem at 240K. Lousy set up by Ptb.

I sprayed some white lithium grease in the shackles to temporarily quiet them up, and will have them replaced next week. Thankya much!!!!
