    morning guy,

well i went to go look at another truck yesterday, truck looked amazing, clean truck double frame (all the way to the cab) 13spd tranny it originally had a pusher axle from peterbilt, only thing that's throwing me for a loop, the peterbilt plate has model number 289-s-19 i also have vin if anyone could help me narrow a few things down, now doing some quick research im finding that model 289's were single axle 359's? but this being a 3 axle (weight rating plate actually had 3rd weight rating of 20,000 as well) its really throwing me for a loop, story is it supposedly came out of Canada and has no more then 590,00 orig miles.

btw it is a 76 with a square door 36" bunk (if anyone would be interested in buying that let me know...
hood also has radiator flip door and dipstick door.

    any info would be excellent...

    thanks guys

Did you call a Pete dealer with the Vin number to find out how it was speced, some times the model number didn't get changed if the order was changed after the build paper work was started, ie the buyer changed his mind and wanted a tandem drive after the initial paper work was done, I found a "289" with a 359 model number once, and the dealer said it showed modified order or something like that.
