1999 379 blinker beeper

    I joined this forum to hopefully answer this question. I recently bought a 1999 Peterbilt 379 and there is some sort of beeper that goes with the blinker. I would love to remove it and i tore the whole dash out looking for this beeper and can not find it any where. Can anyone tell me where it is or if there is a way to shut it off.

    I just bought a 99 379 as well, with the same thing on it. I havent dug into the truck yet, but it will be the first thing to go. I wonder if is an option or something that was added. If no one respnds, I will let you know when I get mine figured out.

    Its a beeping flasher. Replace the flasher behind the left dash panel with a non-beeping one and you'll be good to go.
