The A/C in my 2004 Peterbilt 379 was working great and then it stopped blowing cold air. the compressor works, the compressor clutch is new, the blower motor is good, dryer is new, full of freon. when I tried to let some of the freon out a grey foamy substance came out of the line. When I replaced the dryer the same grey foam came out of the lines. I would appreciate any help I can get.

Have you replaced the expansion valve? I drive an 07 Columbia with a CAT and it stopped blowing cold air. First it was the compressor then when it quit again I checked and the lines where frozen when I showed the mechanic he replaced the expansion and it is working fine.

it cracks me up how everyone TRIES to diagnose their problems.
WITHOUT EVEN HOOKING UP A GAUGE to see what's going on.
grey foam is air bubbles in the oil.
youi could be over pressured. or under pressured. or you could have a blockage somewhere.
GAUGES. best tool for diagnosis. found at any harbor freight for $60.pushbroom, needtoknownow and Chewey Thank this. -
I need to know how to replace an AC dryer in a 2005 379 Peterbilt . Can anyone help me out?

Grey foam could be contamination from last compressor failure.Even if lines were flushed very hard to get contaminants out of evaporator.
