I drive a peterbilt model 587 and the odometer is short buy 2 miles for every 100 miles is there a way to adjust pin settings in order to correct this?

It's likely that the tire revolution per mile (tire RPM ) is set for a tire a little smaller than yours are right now. As your tires wear you'll see it even out and at the end of their life record more miles than you are actually driving. I'd leave it alone.

What he said. +/- 2% is nothing to be concerned with. You cannot have it read perfect at all times becasue the diameter or the tires change as they wear.
