2009 386 Gelling Problems

    Cam do you know what grade of biodiesel you have? Example- B20 B5 etc.. If you know the percentage (B number) you can look up the gel and cloud temperatures.

    I wanted to add another comment about my gelling problem. Last week the mechanics pulling my truck inside and worked on it for two days. From the feedback I got from the head mechanic, they felt that the problem was a solenoid that was mounted to the top of the transmission. I saw the old one and it was very corroded. So they fixed the problem by relocating said solenoid to up under the hood. As of today I have not been able to use the new solenoid because of the warm weather, but I hope it fixes the problem. Just thought I would share what I found out in the hopes that it will help someone else out. Later.
