Disconnect the wire coming from the sensor and see if the solenoid is still being powered up...I'm assuming that you have checked the coolant level and have ensured there's no air pockets in the system right?....That sensor shouldn't be supplying power to the solenoid when not needed.....If you're sure it's the right one, perhaps it's defective.....

I did disconnect the low coolant sensor and left it off a few minutes. Nothing happened, fan continued spinning.
Coolant is topped off, loosened the radiator cap to release a bit of pressure...even disconnected the batteries for a while. -
Fan should be tied into AC and when you run defrost it runs AC. My old Pete's AC is that way.
flaco Thanks this. -
Hadnt thought of that since i wasnt using the ac...but i didrun defrost just to make sure it was working because the company i'm leased on to requires that your defrost works when they inspect your truck

flaco Thanks this.

Bad-luck, i'm just fixin to leave the peterbilt house here in laredo. Plugged it up and canceled out my Low Coolant Level Sensor.
The sensor is new but the harness and plug look like somebody did some alterations, so now its working as it should. Really apreciate everybody's help and if someone else has the same issue, now we have a little more knowledge.
By the way, guys here at Rush Truck Center didnt even bill me. Thats what really made my day. -
I'm glad to hear that you got squared away and they didn't charge you and you're very welcomeflaco Thanks this.
