How do you find time to truck while running a dairy? Hats off to you!

how many head yall milking ? Mixed herd or registered herd ? I miss the smell and sounds of a milkbarn . And chopping corn silage . I dont miss pulling a dead calf .

well this load worked out just lovely. One of my wife’s nieces is getting married next weekend, so I called a previous customer of mine to see if he had a load headed that way, which he did, within an hour of where the wedding will be, and I had a load coming back to within 6 miles of home, they both pay good so I figure we may as well make the trip pay since we’re going anyway!

 

I could learn to love again .. I’mean after all it is a 359 … What’s not to love there ?

 

It’s a mixed herd, mostly Holstein, got a couple red ones as well, and 2-3 crosses. Currently milking 71. Yeah, if I never had to pull another calf PERIOD, I would not complain! Pulled dead twins the other day…. 6 weeks early.

 

absolutely.. I jokingly say I should have bought a 359 when they were still affordable.
